The Hague (cupcakes)

Today I was in The Hague with school, because the Dutch government is settled there. We even saw Jan Peter (Balkenende, our minister-president) and we went to the Tweede Kamer, where the Parliament takes decisions.

During the pause I ate a the Dudok Café a very sweet cupcake from Lily's Cupcakes. These cupcakes look so beautiful! Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me...so I ripped some photo's of there site. I had this one:

It's called: Sparkling Vanilla and it's "the original" at Lily's Cupcakes. My friend ate this one, "Very Berry Vanilla":

And yes, they really look that good in real life. They are good, but not the best cupcakes I ever had.

I love the weather yesterday, today and hopefully all week long!

During my Trier-trip I had a lot of ice-cream and yesterday I made my homework in the garden.

I had a iPod! And in Trier I bought new shoes, that's very logical if you know the shoes I was wearing...(I'll post a photo later.)

And all my marks that count for my exams are above 7,8!!! This afternoon I'll go climbing with a friend, bake pancakes and watch some tv.

This week I was off to Trier, a city in Germany. It was for a school excursion (Classical Cultural : we had to be the guide at various locations. This was my part. It's about fresco's made in the time of Constantine the Great.



That´s why I didn´t post blogs this week! I thought I had already post this blog...

Train trouble

Yesterday's evening, I went climbing with my best friend, but we took a train in the wrong direction.Yeah, that is véry stupid. This train was fifteen minutes too late and we stepped out when we found out this wasn't the right train. We waited for another train to go back, but forgot to buy new tickets. Luckily, nobody found out (uhm...although, I was talking very loud about this in the compartment). We decided to go home and today, we'll try again this afternoon.

Colette, duurrrrrrrrr, maar wel vette winkel. Ik spaar waterflesjes en in hun kelder zit een waterbar. Ik heb er 3 meegenomen: 1 uit Duitsland, 1 uit Zweden en 1 uit Nieuw-Zeeland.

Een leuk cafeetje, we zijn ook naar het café geweest waar Amélie Poulain in de film werkt.
