Paper Castles and sorry for the blank lines ;-)

Peter Calessen is an artist,

renowned for his exceptional talent in combining the minimalism of a big crisp white sheet of paper with the complexity of meticulously cut and folded paper and uses the two to build out some really beautiful compositions. (Wikipedia)

I really like his works, her some examples:

Kibbe?

Last week, the weather was gorgeous, so we could eat our dinner in the garden. I made this, it's called 'kibbe' and it's from Libanon. When you make it looks pretty much like cat food, but it tastes nice. I have the recepy in Dutch. ou an find it here.

Sorry!

Sorry! I haven't been posting much this week, because of my school work. I have a presentation for sociology (maatschappijleer). It counts for my certificate...

The Hague (cupcakes)

Today I was in The Hague with school, because the Dutch government is settled there. We even saw Jan Peter (Balkenende, our minister-president) and we went to the Tweede Kamer, where the Parliament takes decisions.

(This is Balkenende)

During the pause I ate a the Dudok Café a very sweet cupcake from Lily's Cupcakes. These cupcakes look so beautiful! Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me...so I ripped some photo's of there site. I had this one:
It's called: Sparkling Vanilla and it's "the original" at Lily's Cupcakes. My friend ate this one, "Very Berry Vanilla":

And yes, they really look that good in real life. They are good, but not the best cupcakes I ever had.

Hi!
You can still vote on the poll on the right. I think I'm going to print 6 on a tee.
In the meantime, I made myself a print inspired by this one:

My print:
It's with a watermark on it because I've uploaded it on DeviantArt. You can leave a comment if you want to have it without a watermark on it.
